RMTs who wish to take continuing education activities that are not yet on the Approved Continuing Education Activities – Cycle 12 list and receive continuing education credits (CECs) must apply for approval from CMTBC. The approval process varies, depending on the type of continuing education activity you wish to take.
For practical education (PE) continuing education activities, RMTs can submit the application form on behalf of a course provider/instructor, or ask the course provider/instructor to submit the form.
For webinar practical education (PE) continuing education activities, RMTs can submit the application form on behalf of a course provider/instructor, or ask the course provider/instructor to submit the form. For professional development (PD) continuing education activities, course providers/instructors must submit the application form, to ensure the required documentation is included.

As an RMT, it is your responsibility to ensure that the continuing education you plan to take is eligible for CECs, if you intend to report CECs upon completion of the activity. Also keep the following in mind:
The process of approval of Continuing Education Activities in all categories can take up to six weeks.
September 6, 2021 is the last date applications for approval will be accepted for inclusion in Cycle 12.
