Aside from receiving 10 CECs for CMTBC’s online course, RMTs receive CECs for completing continuing education activities in two categories:
The criteria for approval of continuing education activities explain the difference between the categories. Both categories are equal in terms of meeting College requirements.
There is no limit to the number of PD or PE credits that can be accumulated in Cycle 12. All 14 remaining required CECs (for RMTs with Practising status) or 2 remaining required CECs (for RMTs with Non-practising status) can be from PD or PE activities.
Search for approved PD or PE continuing education activities on the Approved Continuing Education Activities – Cycle 12 page.
RMTs need to complete required activities by the end of the cycle: October 31, 2020. Failure to complete required continuing education by that date will result in a non-compliance fee, in an amount set by CMTBC’s Bylaws.
RMTs have until November 30, 2020 to report completed CECs on the Registrant Portal.
